Matching Resources to Jobs
After you personalize your views and determine your daily priorities, you can move forward to match Resources to Jobs.
To accomplish this task, you can use automated tools to find the right Resource for each Job. Resource matching can be based on a variety of factors, including skill set, product expertise, and location. Additionally, Resource and Job schedules and travel times for Resources to reach Job locations have an impact on Resource matching.
As part of the Resource-matching process, you may need to modify or cancel Jobs, view the associated Salesforce Work Orders, and preassign Jobs to Resources.
To find the right Resources for specific Jobs, Service Board includes a variety of automated tools. You can use the Recommend Resources option to automatically locate technicians who most closely fit Job Requirements, Additionally, you can use Appointment Proposals and Schedule Proposals to automatically generate single or multiple Appointments that best fit Job Requirements and relevant Resource availability.
