Assigning Jobs to Resources
To allow Technicians to schedule their own Appointments, you can assign Jobs to Resources. Assignment is not supported for:
• Jobs that are in non-initial status or that are created from Project Tasks.
• Multiple Jobs selected for automated assignment with Schedule Proposals.
• Inactive Resources or active Resources that are linked to inactive users.
• Crews.
To assign Jobs to Resources:
1. Do any of the following:
◦ Select the Job List and Scheduler Resource List you want to use for Job assignment.
◦ Use Job Search or Search Job List to find Jobs to assign.
◦ Use Search All Resourcesto find Resources to assign.
◦ Use Recommend Resources to find the best Resources for a selected Job.
2. Click and drag the Job you want to assign into the Scheduler Resource List, and then drop the Job onto the name of the Resource you want to assign.
