• Manual dispatch using Dispatch Console: In this approach, dispatchers manually review work order details and technician availability. They then determine the best technician to assign or schedule a work order based on business-specific parameters. This method allows for a high degree of control and customization in the dispatch process.
• Semi-Automatic Dispatch using Immediate Dispatch through a rules-based engine: This method involves automatically assigning work orders to dispatchers or queues based on predefined criteria. Then, manual assignment or scheduling to specific technicians is performed. This approach balances automation with the flexibility of manual intervention.
• Automatic dispatch using Schedule Optimization: This advanced method involves the automatic scheduling of technicians to work orders based on algorithmic matching of work order requirements, such as SLAs, appointments, and required skills, to the technicians' availability and expertise.
