Server-Side Configuration Options
Dispatch Console functionality is governed by various configuration options that can be done from ServiceMax Setup Home. These include the following:
Configuration Settings: control the default behavior of Dispatch Console features.
Service Org and Territories: where Service Teams, Technicians, and Territories are defined.
Event Subject Rules: which are applied when work orders are scheduled to technicians
Event Hover Rules: which determine the info displayed in DC Scheduler on hovering over a Work Order event
MTTS Rules: define default Work Order Service Duration, which in turn is used when a work order is scheduled to one or more technicians
Dispatch Console Field Updates: to configure Work Order and Event fields which can be set when creating/editing events
Dispatch Console Views: where views can be defined and made accessible to the required set of Dispatch Console users
Dispatch Console Hovers: using which information to be displayed on map hover is configured
Territory Match Rules: to auto-populate the Primary Territory of a work order, for use when executing Service Team/Technician Search based on territory, and Advanced Technician Search
Technician Eligibility Rules: to find the list of eligible technicians, for use when executing Advanced Technician Search
Skill Match Rules: to find the list of required and optional skills, for use when executing Advanced Technician Search
