Deleting Messages
You can delete Messages after you send them. This can be useful if you send a Message by accident. When you delete a Message, Conversation participants see a status message that indicates a Message was deleted, without any information on who sent or deleted the Message. By default, you can delete Messages for up to 24 hours after you send them.
Admins can delete Messages sent by others within their admin scope at any time, which can be useful when inappropriate or sensitive information is shared. Message deletion is configurable for each Organization, and can be disabled or modified to support shorter or longer time limits. Deletion can be configured separately for users and Admins. For assistance with configuring Message deletion, contact ServiceMax Zinc Support.
To delete Messages:
On the Conversations Tab (), do one of the following:
On a mobile device, long-press the Message you want to edit, and then in the context menu, tap Delete.
In Zinc Desktop, right-click the Message you want to edit, and then in the context menu, click Delete.
