Before you begin, ensure the following:
• Ensure that administrator has enabled the Use Job's Service Team and Related Secondary Service Teams for Resource Recommendations setting.
• The job you are working with must have a Service Team assigned.

This task describes how to run Resource Recommendations for a job when your system is configured to use the job's assigned Service Team for candidate scoping. By leveraging Service Teams, you can quickly generate qualified resource matches without manually selecting or adjusting resource lists.
To run Resource Recommendations using a job's Service Team:
1. Navigate to the Job List.
2. From the Job List, identify and select the job for which you need resource recommendations. Confirm that the job displays an assigned Service Team.
3. On the Job card, select Recommend Resource from the available actions. The system generates a list of recommended candidates. The recommended resource list displays:
◦ Candidate source: Qualified resources from the job's Service Team and any directly linked Secondary Service Teams.
◦ Match percentages: How well each resource matches the job requirements.
◦ Resource badges: Visual indicators of preferred resources based on job requirements.
◦ Starred resources: Resources that meet or exceed the Resource Recommendation Star Threshold (default 80%).
Hover over any resource to view detailed match information, including credential matches and other scoring factors.
4. Select the resource that best meets your needs. Once selected, you can assign the resource to the job.
Common Scenarios
Job has a Service Team and the setting is enabled. The system shows only qualified resources from that Service Team and its linked Secondary Service Teams. Dispatcher resource list is not used. Review and select from these team members.
Job has no Service Team. The system automatically falls back to Dispatcher resource list, regardless of whether the setting is enabled.
No resources meet job requirements. The recommended list is empty or contains no qualified candidates. You can adjust matching criteria in the Edit Resource Matching dialog, or manually assign a resource not shown in recommendations.
Important Notes
• Feature scope: This setting only applies to Recommend Resource. The Propose Schedule and Propose Times actions do not use Service Teams for scoping.
• Filters still apply: Even when using a job's Service Team, access controls and existing Resource List filters continue to restrict which candidates appear.
• Secondary Service Teams: Only directly linked Secondary Service Teams are included in the candidate pool. Indirect or recursive team relationships are not expanded.
• Performance: If your Service Team has many resources, recommendations may take longer to generate. If you receive a resource list size error, contact your administrator to review team size or adjust the Maximum Resource List setting.
