Navigation Bar
The navigation bar appears along the left side of the Service Board user interface and provides quick access to key features and administrative tools. It serves as the primary navigation panel for dispatchers and crew managers, enabling them to switch between scheduling views, manage resources, and access configuration and system settings.
The following table describes the icons and their corresponding functionality:
Component
Description
Scheduler: Opens the Scheduler view where you can view jobs and manage scheduling activities. The tab displays a job list with active jobs and a scheduler calendar that shows resources, crews, appointments, and events. For more information, see Scheduler Tab
Map: Displays the physical locations of jobs, resources, and crews on a map. It includes Jobs and Resources subtabs that show lists in the left pane and corresponding locations on the map in the right pane. For more information, see Map Tab
Crew Manager: Enables you to create, manage, and schedule crews for jobs that require multiple skills or expertise. It includes features such as the crew resource list and crew calendar for managing crew assignments. For more information, see Crew Manager Tab
Project: Allows you to import project files (.mpp or .xml) and manage project-based scheduling. It provides access to project lists and a Gantt chart view to assign and track project tasks. For more information, see Project Tab
Message Center: Displays system messages, alerts, and notifications to keep users informed about system activities.
Application Setting: Provides access to configuration settings used to manage application behavior and customizations.
Applications: Provides access to additional Max applications. This option is available only for users with System Administrator or Service Board Administrator role.
User Menu: Allows users to manage Preferences, Contact Information, and Session Information. For more information, see User Menu.
