The Service Board UI provides a set of tools and features that dispatchers and crew managers use to schedule work and manage Resources and Crews across multiple views.

With the introduction of the Service Board Modern user interface (UI), administrators can control how the Service Board UI is presented to dispatchers. Administrators can either allow dispatchers to choose their preferred UI or centrally manage the UI experience for all dispatchers.

The Enable Service Board UI Personalization setting determines this behavior. When this setting is enabled, dispatchers can switch between the modern and classic user interfaces from the Application Settings page. When the setting is disabled, the UI switch option is hidden from the Application Settings page, and only Service Board administrators can control the interface using Service Board Admin. This setting is enabled by default.

The Classic user interface retires on November 8, 2026. All features are available in the Service Board Modern interface. We recommend switching to Service Board Modern at your earliest convenience to access the latest features.

This capability helps organizations improve visual clarity, ensure UI consistency across dispatcher experiences, and enhance overall usability, while preserving existing Service Board functionality.

The UI includes the following tabs and options:

• Navigation Bar: Provides quick access to common actions and settings, including the ability to:

◦ Switch between tabs.

◦ View recent notifications.

◦ Personalize settings.

◦ Access other applications.

◦ Manage user information.

• Scheduler Tab: Displays a Job List in the left pane and a Calendar that includes a Scheduler Resource List with Resource and Crew information in the right pane.

• Map Tab: Provides a Job List and Map Resource List in the left pane and a Map that shows their locations in the right pane.

• Crew Manager Tab: Shows a Crew Resource List in the left pane and a Crew Calendar that includes a Crew List with Resource and Crew information in the right pane.

• Project Tab: Includes a full set of features to import project-planning files from popular project-management software applications and schedule Resources to complete project tasks.

• Service Board login accounts cannot be shared. Only one user session is permitted for each set of login credentials, which means that if another user logs into Service Board with your username and password, you are automatically signed out.

• The Crew Manager tab is available only to users who have the Crew Manager or Service Board Administrator roles.

View Service Board in Classic mode
