Defining Technician Qualifications
To define technician qualifications:
1. In Max Designer, on the Developer Tools (
) launchpad menu, click Object Designer, and then in the left pane, search for and select Qualification.

).3. On the New Qualification form, in the Name field, enter a name for the qualification, and then in the Resource field, select the technician for whom you are defining this qualification.
4. In the Credential field, select a credential to include in this qualification.
 | When you select a credential from a credential category that is set up to use expertise levels for Resource recommendations, this field is required. In these cases, if you leave the Credential field blank, an error message appears. |
5. On the Additional Details tab, in the Level field, enter a numerical value to represent the technician’s level of expertise, and then in the Effective Date and Expiration Date fields, select the starting and ending dates for the qualification.
6. In the Job field, select the work order to which this qualification applies, and then in the top left corner, click Save and Close (
