Defining Credentials
To define credentials:
1. In Max Designer, on the Developer Tools () launchpad menu, click Object Designer, and then in the left pane, search for and select the Credential object.
2. In the left pane, click Records, and then in the list view, in the top left corner, click Create ().
3. On the New Credential page, in the Name field, enter a name for the credential, and then in the Credential Category field, select the category to which you want to add this credential.
4. On the Additional Details tab, on the Skill Category list, click an option to include credentials in the Skill credential category.
5. In the Product field, select a specific product with which you want to associate the credential.

When you add a credential to the Product Expertise category, this field is required. In these cases, if you leave the Product field blank, an error message appears.
6. In the Resource Source field, select an account with job requirements that include this credential, and then in the top left corner, click Save and Close().

When you add a credential to a credential category that is set up to use expertise levels for Resource recommendations, this field is required. In these cases, if you leave the Resource Source field blank, an error message appears.
