Asset-Centric View
The Asset-Centric View is a BETA feature introduced in Service Board 20.2c. This feature provides a view into schedule and location information for Installed Products associated with Jobs and Appointments in the Asset Calendar.
To enter the Asset-Centric View, you click Resources & Assets in the drop-down list to the left of the Date Range list at the top of the Scheduler Calendar.
In the Asset-Centric View, you can do the following:
View Assets: By default, only the Installed Products associated with the Jobs in the current page of the selected Job List appear in the Asset Calendar.
Paginate or Switch Job Lists: When you view the next or previous page of a multi-page Job List, or select a different Job List, the view refreshes to show the assets associated with the current list entries.
View Installed Products: Installed Products associated with scheduled Jobs appear in the same colors that are configured for their related Appointments. When you hover your mouse pointer over an asset block, a tooltip appears and shows more information about the asset.
Switch Asset Lists: At the top of the Asset Calendar, you can select an Asset List to view.
*
Only the Installed Products list ships with Service Board. Your system administrator can configure additional Asset Lists to meet your unique needs.
View All or Only Job-Related Assets: By default, the Asset Calendar shows only the assets associated with the currently selected Job List. To view all assets, you can click View All Assets at the bottom of the Asset Calendar, and then click Show Assets Related to Jobs to show only the assets related to the currently selected Job List.
*
If the number of entries in the selected Asset List exceeds the maximum size configured by your system administrator, an alert appears and informs you that the list is truncated. Your system administrator can increase this setting if needed.
