Managing Transfer Requests

Parts management is a critical part of your field service activity. You need to be aware of the parts you have access to at any specific time. The Go application enables you to access a parts catalog directly from nearby locations and contacts. The Go app also enables you to request parts from your contacts to complete your current or upcoming work. You can view, create, and cancel your transfer requests if the feature is enabled by your administrator.
All the transfer requests happen between two or more technicians. The following steps explain the end-to-end process for parts transfer between two technicians, Tech-A and Tech-B, where Tech-A requests spare parts from Tech-B.
1. Tech-A starts a request for the transfer of a part from Tech-B.
2. Tech-B accepts the transfer request and responds to Tech-A.
3. Tech-B starts the transfer of the parts to Tech-A.
4. Tech-A receives, and reviews the details of the received parts, and completes the transfer.
