Configuring Field Inventory
You can use the Field Inventory setting to allow the technicians to use the Inventory feature in the ServiceMax Go app.
To enable the Field Inventory settings:
1. Navigate to ServiceMax Setup > Mobile > Mobile Console > Group Settings Manager.
2. Click the action menu at the end of the row of the group profile.
3. Click Manage Configurations.
4. Navigate to Field Inventory > General from the left pane.
5. Click the toggle button for Enable Field Inventory.
6. Enter the ID of an inventory process in the Stock Transfer Inventory Process field.
| • The stock transfer is supported between technicians only. • Stock transfer requests from a location are not supported. |
7. Click Save.
| • Ensure to validate the inventory process in your browser before running it on mobile devices. • Ensure to check the Go mobile app log files as the missing permissions are logged in the app logs. |
