Configuring the Wizard Layout
*
For information about configuring SFM Wizards in Lightning experience, see Lightning Wizard Designer.
To configure the appearance of SFM wizards of an object on the record:
1. Select the required object on the SFM Wizard Designer home page.
The available SFM Wizards for the selected object are displayed.
2. Click Layout Configuration.
The Configure SFM Wizard Layout page is displayed, listing all the available wizards for the object, including the inactive wizards.
*
Only the active wizards are displayed on the SFM Wizard Delivery screen for end users even if you select inactive Wizards on this page.
3. Select the display size of the wizard. To avoid scrolling, decrease the display size if there multiple number of wizards and steps for the object.
4. You can configure the wizard layout by choosing the applicable wizard in each row and column.
You can select any wizard only once in a layout.
To leave a cell blank, select None.
Click the + button to insert a new row.
*
Blank rows are ignored when you save the Wizard layout. This means that blank rows are not displayed in SFM Delivery for the end users.
5. Click Preview to preview the layout. The Preview is displayed, as shown in the following screenshot.
*
The Wizards are displayed as per the configured sequence in a two column layout only in the classic Service Flow Wizard delivery.
The Layout Configuration set up in the Classic Wizard Designer, which is a two-column view, is not applicable/respected when the user accesses the Wizards from SFM Wizard lighting component on the Lightning record page. Two columns are converted to a single column, arranged from left to right.
At runtime, the number of wizards displayed per row depends on the Lightning page template added to the record page and the placement of the component within the page layout. Only the qualifying wizards are listed.
In mobile apps, the wizards are listed in a single column as Actions menu groups. The wizard display order is converted for a single column by reading these from left to right, top to bottom. For example, the wizards shown in the screenshot display in the following order in mobile apps:
a. Case Toolbox
b. Case Management
c. Case Management - Paid Incidents
d. Case Management - Covered Incidents
6. Click Save & Close save the layout and return to the SFM Wizard Designer screen.
*
At any time during the layout configuration process, click Quick Save to save the layout, even if it is incomplete, and continue to edit the layout.
