Overview
The PTC Orbit application offers four distinct views for managing and analyzing assets, each tailored to specific user needs. The Asset List View, the default view, provides a tabular display of all assets with filtering, search, and drill-down capabilities for detailed analysis. The Asset Group View organizes assets into hierarchical groups based on accounts or sites, offering detailed insights through performance scores and additional tabs like Service & Maintenance. The Asset Location View focuses on the geographic organization of assets, allowing users to navigate a hierarchical structure of regions, sites, and buildings while accessing detailed asset information. Finally, the Asset Map View provides a global, map-based representation of assets, with interactive markers and Cluster View functionality for managing grouped assets in the same location. Together, these views ensure a comprehensive and flexible approach to asset monitoring, enabling you to switch perspectives based on your operational and analytical requirements.
