Architectural reference (UPDM - DoDAF aliases)
Creation
To create an Architectural Reference:
• From an
Architectural Description or
Service Description: right-click the Architectural Description or Service Description, point to Links, point to All, and then click Referencing Architecture or Referenced Architecture.
• From a valid Product diagram (see below): click the Architectural Reference button, click the referencing Architectural Reference, and then click the referenced Architectural Reference.

When shown on a valid Product diagram (see below), an Architectural Reference appears as follows:

There are no relationships that are of significant importance to an Architectural Reference.
