Interface device type (dictionary item)

An Interface Device Type specifies the technical features of Interface Devices.
You can create an Interface Device Type through the context menu of a Package: right-click the Package, and select New > Proprietary > System Architecture Model > Interface Device Type.
In the Modeler panes, a short-cut symbol on the Interface Device Type's icon indicates that the item is a stub.

Dependency — The Dependency is owned jointly by the Interface Device Type and the other associated item. The access permissions you have to a Dependency are determined by the access permissions of the dependent item.
