Repair Information
The options in the upper portion of the Maintainability Data pane are the same for any repairable item, regardless of whether the item is an assembly or part. The following table describes these options.
Option
Description
Repair definition
The repair time for the repairable item can be defined by one of two options:
FD&I Output. When selected, repair data is retrieved from enabled Maintainability FD&I Library files. For more information, see Maintainability FD&I Library Files.
Maintenance Task. When selected (default), repair data is retrieved from enabled Maintainability Task Library files. For more information, see Maintainability Task Library Files
Repair level
When the default list, Maintainability Levels, is attached to this field in the Project’s Data Definition file, three repair levels are present:
Depot. When selected, the item is repairable at the component or part level.
Intermediate. When selected, the item is repairable at the board or assembly level. This is the default value for newly inserted assemblies and parts. However, you can choose another value as the default.
Organizational. When selected, the item is repairable at the box or system level.
You can customize repair levels as described in Customizing Repair Levels
