Working With Voice and Video Calls
Although most of your Conversations are typically text-based, in some scenarios, voice and video calls can be more effective. For example, in cases where you need to show teammates details of assets you work with in real time, or conduct a team meeting, video calling can be useful. For complex Conversations that must be completed quickly, voice calling can be more efficient than text-based Messages.
Video and voice calling is available for one-on-one and Group Conversations. When you start a one-on-one or group call, a chime sounds to let you know the call started successfully, and when others join the call, the chime sounds again. Additionally, text notifications appear in the Zinc UI when participants join or leave calls. After you start a call, you can seamlessly and intuitively switch between text, video, and voice communications at any time from within Zinc. When you share video, everyone on the call can draw annotations on the screen to highlight specific details that relate to the problem or question under discussion.
*
You can also share your screen in a video call. However, when you do so, you cannot draw annotations or see annotations drawn by others.
During a call, you can tap or click any of the following options on the call screen.
