Making One-on-One Voice and Video Calls
You can start a one-on-one voice or video call with anyone in your Zinc organization. Calls start and remain open until one or more of your colleagues join you, and are not canceled if no immediate response is received. When you start a call and when others join you, a chime sounds, and text notifications appear in the Zinc UI when others join or leave the call. You can also share and annotate your screen and live video feeds.
To make a one-on-one voice or video call:
1. Do one of the following:
On the Conversations Tab (), tap a recent Conversation with the person you want to call.
On the People Tab (), find the entry for the person you want to call.
2. In the Conversation or on the User Profile screen, in the top right corner, tap or click Phone (), and then to switch from voice to video, tap or click or Video ().
3. To annotate live video or your shared screen, do one of the following:
In Zinc Mobile, draw on the screen with your finger, and then hold your finger down on the screen.
In Zinc Desktop, hold down the left mouse button or press on the trackpad and draw on the screen, and then continue to hold down the button or press on the trackpad.
*
Annotations disappear when you lift your finger off the screen or trackpad, or release the left mouse button.
When you share your screen, you cannot draw annotations or see annotations drawn by others.
