Enabling Notifications
When you first download and install Zinc Mobile, push notifications and audio notifications are disabled by default. To keep informed of all your Conversations, you can enable these notifications and customize the way you receive them.
iOS
To enable Zinc notifications for iOS devices:
1. In the Settings app, tap Notifications, and then in the Notification Style list, tap Zinc.
2. On the Zinc settings screen, tap the Allow Notifications slider button, and then in the Alerts area, select or clear the Lock Screen, Notification Center, and Banners options.
3. Tap Banner Style, and then select Temporary or Persistent.
4. Tap the Sounds and Badges slider buttons to enable or disable each notification type.
5. In the Lock Screen Appearance area, in the Show Previews row, tap Always, When Unlocked, or Never, and then in the Notification Grouping row, tap Automatic, By App, or Off.

Android
To enable Zinc notifications for Android devices:
1. In the Settings app, tap Notifications, and then make any of the following settings:

Included apps | Notifications for all apps are enabled by default. To disable Zinc notifications, tap All apps and scroll down to the Zinc entry, then tap the slider button. |
Brief pop-up settings | • Color by keyword: Optionally, define keywords to highlight in specific colors, which can help you to quickly identify important messages. • Show even when screen is off: Enabled by default. |
2. On the Settings screen, tap Sounds and Vibration, and then tap Separate app sound to set a special sound for your Zinc audio notifications.
