Embedded Zinc Configuration
To allow users to launch contextual Conversations from Salesforce and ServiceMax record views, Workspace Conversations about Jobs in progress and Route Messages from Service Board, and collaborate without leaving their current working environments, you can configure Embedded Zinc.
To configure Embedded Zinc for ServiceMax, you first configure Salesforce and ServiceMax UX elements and custom fields for supported record types. After you add Zinc to your Salesforce layouts, your users can log into Zinc from within ServiceMax to connect their accounts and create new contextual Conversations.

Embedded Zinc also runs inside ServiceMax Go for Windows. The Open Admin Zinc, Video, and Call buttons are hidden. Push notifications for messages, broadcasts, and hotline requests are delivered to the Windows device, and Salesforce record links open directly inside Go rather than in a separate browser.
