Configuring Zinc Integration
By default, Zinc is disabled on Service Board. To enable it, contact ServiceMax Customer Support.
After Zinc is enabled, additional OAuth2 scopes are required to support SSO. For tenants that are already configured with external OAuth2 providers, extra scopes are added by ServiceMax Support when Zinc is enabled. For tenants that are not yet configured with external OAuth providers, follow the steps in this procedure.
To configure Zinc integration:
1. In Salesforce, create a connected app for OAuth, and then create an External OAuth Provider record in Service Board.
2. In the newly created External OAuth Provider record, in the Scopes field, update the value to id api refresh_token.
3. After you configure Zinc on Service Board, have your users sign out and sign in again to grant Zinc authentication access and complete the configuration process.
