Creating Resource-Recommendation-Related Records
In cases where high volumes of jobs must be synced, to reduce initial sync processing time, you can disable automated Resource-recommendation-related record creation and create these records in batch mode later on. You can configure the Process Jobs for Job Requirements and Qualifications Handler initial sync action to trigger the creation of Resource-recommendation-related records. During initial sync, this triggers the creation of Credential, Job Requirement, and Qualification records by the Auto Maintain Job Requirements for Job After Creating and Updating and Update Qualification For Job Prefer Technician event handlers.
To create Resource-recommendation-related records in batch mode:
1. In Max Designer, click Developer Tools () > Development Tools > Event Handlers , and then in the list view, click Auto Maintain Job Requirements for Job After Creating and Updating.
2. On the record page, on the System Info tab, clear the Active check box, and then in the top left corner, click Save and Close ().
3. In the list view, click Update Qualification For Job Prefer Technician, and then on the System Info tab, clear the Active check box and save and close the record.
4. Click Development Actions () > Synchronize, and then click Developer Tools () > Initial Sync Actions.
5. In the list view, click Initial Sync Jobs, and then on the record page, in the top right corner, click Options () > Run Initial Sync.
6. In the Initial Sync Actions list view, click Process Jobs for Job Requirements and Qualifications Handler, and then on the System Info tab, select the Active check box and save the record.
7. In the top right corner, click Options () > Run Initial Sync, and then on the System Info tab, clear the Active check box and save and close the record.
8. In the Event Handlers list view, click Auto Maintain Job Requirements for Job After Creating and Updating, and then on the record page, on the System Info tab, select the Active check box and save and close the record.
9. In the Event Handlers list view, locate and click Update Qualification For Job Prefer Technician, and then on the System Info tab, select the Active check box and save and close the record.
10. Click Development Actions () > Synchronize.

Perform these steps only during implementation before your production instance becomes operational. If you deactivate the event handlers referenced in this procedure while real-time sync is running, data errors are triggered.
