Creating a Service Board Tenant Instance
To create a Service Board tenant instance, you must follow a specific process.
To create a Service Board tenant instance:
1. If your organization uses two-factor authentication, in Salesforce, follow the steps in Configuring Salesforce Identity Verification for Integration User Accounts to add the following fixed IP addresses:
99.80.189.33
34.248.167.184
34.252.223.229
2. If your organization is to be created in Salesforce Summer '23 or later, to check whether the OAuth 2.0 username-password flow is enabled, on the Salesforce Setup page, in the left pane, in the Settings section, expand the Identity node, and then click OAuth and OpenID Connect Settings.
3. In the Allow OAuth Username-Password Flows row, if the setting is set to Off, update the value to On.
4. Install the Service Board Extension package, and then file a ServiceMax support case to have a Service Board tenant created.
5. After the tenant is prepared and linked with your Salesforce org, you can move forward to configure Job and Appointment workflow transitions, status mappings, and initial and real-time sync.
