Installing the Service Board Extension
Before you can create a tenant instance, you must first install the Service Board extension.

The Salesforce Event object has a strict maximum limit of 100 fields. At least two fields must be available, or installation fails. If the Event object in your SFDC environment is configured with 99 or 100 fields, you must vacate some of the fields.
To install the Service Board extension:
1. On the ServiceMax Release Page, click the applicable Release Name.
2. In the Release Packages table, in the row for the latest release, click the appropriate link (Production Installation or Sandbox Installation).
3. Select the users and profiles for which you want to install the package, and then click Install.

By default, the System Administrator role has all Service Board object and field permissions for the tenant created for Salesforce integration. If customers intend to use other roles to perform implementation tasks, you must obtain all required read and edit permissions to create and update fields for alternative roles, and configure relevant package components accordingly.
