About Territories
Territories are used to organize Resources into logical groupings based on geographic criteria, virtual criteria, or a combination of the two. Geographical dimensions for Territories can include postal code or city or country, and virtual dimensions can include product or industry. You can associate Service Teams, Crews, Resources, and Equipment to specific Territories. In the current Service Board release, Territories are created and managed on Salesforce, and read-only on Max. Dispatchers can see only the Territories to which they are assigned in Salesforce, and do not have access to parent or descendant Territories.
