About Resources
Service Teams, Territories, and Crews are composed of Resources, which are a key element for scheduling. A Resource can be a technician or a piece of equipment, and Resources are available for dispatch whether or not they have Salesforce login credentials. You create Resources on Salesforce, and the data is synced to Service Board during real-time sync. You can define user-level settings to personalize user experiences, specify technician credentials and qualifications, and assign shifts and shift plans to Resources.

By default, the Enable Scheduling option on the Salesforce Technician object is not supported in Service Board. Resources are always available for dispatch, unless and until the Active option on the associated record is disabled. Additionally, multiple Resources cannot be assigned to a single Salesforce user account.
