• Task dependency: Technicians can view and follow task dependencies within a Work Order. The app evaluates defined rules and prevents tasks from starting or completing until prerequisite conditions are satisfied. Technicians can see which tasks are blocked, which are blocking others, and filter tasks using the Has Dependency condition.
• Technical attributes from tasks: Technicians can identify Technical Attribute tasks using a dedicated icon, open and update Technical Attribute templates directly from tasks, and use deep links to access the correct attribute context. This feature is available in Windows Go from this release.
• Scheduled tasks on calendar: Tasks scheduled and assigned in Service Board now appear on the Go calendar in Day, Week, and Agenda views. Technicians can review task details and open tasks directly from the calendar. This feature is available in Windows Go from this release.
• AI actions: Technicians can launch AI Actions directly from SFM wizard steps and receive AI-generated responses inline, with record links and source document references displayed automatically. This feature is available in Windows Go from this release.
• AI chat: Technicians can interact with ServiceMax AI from supported records such as Work Order, Installed Product, Case, Location, and Account. Responses include links to related records and source documents in near real time. This feature is available in Windows Go from this release.
• Embedded Zinc: Communication tools open inside the Windows Go interface, allowing technicians to access messaging, hotlines, connected conversations, and broadcasts without switching applications. This feature is available in Windows Go from this release.
• Notification read and unread status: Technicians can clear all unread notifications at once using Mark All as Read and mark individual notifications as unread by swiping. Status stays consistent across devices after sync.
• Smarter configuration sync notifications: Configuration Sync update notifications that are no longer applicable are automatically removed from the notifications screen. Administrators can also include custom titles and messages in sync notifications.
• Online search in View SFM: Online search in child sections now retrieves results from the backend as technicians type, instead of searching only within previously loaded data.
• Lookup datatype in technical attributes: Technicians can capture technical attributes with lookup datatypes by selecting from predefined values, improving field data consistency and accuracy.
• Guided Add Part for Parts Consumption: Technicians can add parts not already recommended in a Work Plan, and serialized swaps now automatically create return orders for removed parts based on configuration and repairability. This feature is available on Android and iOS only.
• Default landing tab and record count in SFM: Technicians can set a default landing tab per flow so records open on their preferred tab. View SFM tabs also display a count of downloaded records for quick reference.
• Work Plan title and description: Work Plan assignments now display meaningful titles drawn from the assignment record first, falling back to the linked Work Plan Library.
• Timesheet accuracy: Timesheet calculations now include manually created or edited entries and update existing entries when source records change, reducing mismatches during review.
• Issue Reporting with service product: Technicians can report issues at the Service Product level using the Work Order > Service Product > Installed Product hierarchy, with up to five configurable additional fields and offline search capability. This feature is available on Android and iOS only.
• Background data download from push notifications: The app makes a best attempt to download record data in the background when push notifications arrive, reducing load time when technicians open records. This feature is available on iOS only.
