Salesforce Files in FSA
By default, the files are stored as Attachments under Notes & Attachments section in the server. If your administrator configures the Global Setting GBL037 (Module: Common; Submodule: Global Settings) to true, the attachments are stored as Salesforce Files under the Files section. ServiceMax limits the size of the Salesforce Files upload and downloads to 25 MB. For more information, see Salesforce Files. You can preview and download the attachments of type Files from the server. To know how to enable the download of Salesforce Files, see File Download Configuration. Even if the Global Setting GBL037 (Module: Common; Submodule: Global Settings) is set to true, the files under Notes & Attachments section in the server will continue to be downloaded to your mobile application.
By enabling the Global settings GBL037 (Module: Common; Submodule: Global Settings) for Output documents, the Salesforce Files feature enables version control in Output Documents. For more information see Enabling Version Control for Salesforce Files.
If you enable version control while creating your output document process, only the latest version of the output document exists in the Attached Documents sections of your record. In the server, you can view all the versions of the output document by clicking Show all versions from Files section. For more information, see Multiple Version Support. Deleting attachments stored as Salesforce files will delete all the versions of the file from the server.

For the updated and correct version of the output document to be available in the server, you should always perform data sync in your app to sync the latest data to the server.
To know more about Salesforce Files and the pre-requisites for using Salesforce Files (if any), refer to Salesforce Documentation.
