Supported Configurations
The following configurations are supported for Installed Base App.
Layout : Layout in Installed Base App Setup page allows you to set the SFM edit process that must be used to view details of an Installed Product or Location record when Installed Base App is accessed from Field Service Apps.
Filters: Filters as the name suggest can be used to display only those IBs matching a certain criteria in the IB tree on Installed Base App. As Installed Bases can be very large with complex nested hierarchy, these filters allows you to locate required IB(s) quickly.
Search: SFM Search configured on object Installed Product can be linked with Installed Base App. Using this Search you can look for locally available records specific to the installed products associated with an Account .
Attachments: Attachments when enabled in the Installed Base App Setup page allows you to download and view attachments for the Installed Base or Location record in the Installed Base App. Additionally, you can also upload attachments from the Installed Base App.
Technical Attributes: Technical Attributes are defined as templates for a Product, Product Line, or Product Family, and applied for installed products belonging to them. A Technical Attributes template can have multiple attributes defined in it, along with an optional default value for each attribute. This enables technicians to record, update, view, and track values for these attributes of an installed product record.
