Launching SFM Designer
Open SFM Designer directly from the SFM Delivery screen to view or modify the transaction configuration.
SFM Designer is the administration tool for configuring SFM transactions, page layouts, and field mappings.
SFM Lightning Delivery
You can launch the SFM Designer from SFM Transactions and Output Documents.
To launch SFM Designer:
1. Open an SFM transaction.
2. Click the Application Settings (gear) icon in the toolbar.
3. Select Launch SFM Designer from the menu.
SFM Designer opens in a new browser tab, displaying the configuration for the current SFM transaction or output document.
When you launch SFM Designer from a linked SFM process, the parent process is not loaded. The corresponding linked process is loaded in the Designer.

The Launch SFM Designer option is not available in the Salesforce Community.

Classic Theme
This feature is not supported in Classic Theme.
Lightning Theme
This option is available for all SFM transactions in Lightning, by giving permissions to the profile you are using in the Feature Permissions page. This helps you to launch SFM Designer quickly and easily and edit the SFM transaction or output document as per your requirements.
1. Open an SFM transaction in Lightning Theme.
2. Click the dropdown arrow in the action button group.
3. Select Launch SFM Designer from the dropdown menu.
SFM Designer opens in a new tab when you click Launch SFM Designer.
When you launch SFM Designer from a linked SFM process, the parent process is not loaded and the corresponding linked process in the Designer is loaded.
