Expressions
The Service Process Manager includes an expression builder that is used to define or edit an expression. The expressions are used as qualifying criteria for different objects such as Asset, Case, or Work Order.
Expressions are the reusable components and can be leveraged in the following scenarios:
Examples of using the Expressions feature are:
• To create a work order from a case, you need to create qualifying criteria so that a work order can only be created when the case status is not ‘Closed.’
• To create a warranty for an asset, you need to create qualifying criteria only when the warranty is not expired.
• To debrief a work order, you need to create an expression where 'Debrief Work Order' is not enabled until the work order status is 'Inspection Complete.'
