Configuring Lookup
ServiceMax Asset 360 provides the ability to add Lookup Filters, Autofill Mapping, and Contextual Filters.
Use Cases
• Lookup Filters - to show Products with Product Family = Parts and isActive = True.
• Autofill Mapping - to auto-fill fields on Transactions and Screens when a Lookup is populated leveraging mapping
• Contextual Filters - to show only Assets associated with the Account on the Contracts when adding Contract Lines
Navigating to Lookup Configuration Page
You can navigate to the Lookup Configuration page only from the Screen Editor or Transaction Editor page.
1. Launch a Screen or Transaction in Edit mode.
2. Select the lookup field under the Object. The Field Properties pane is displayed.
3. Under the Lookup section in the Field Properties pane, click the Lookup Filter field.
4. Click New Configuration from the drop-down to create a lookup configuration. The Lookup Configuration page is displayed in a new window.
5. Select the lookup from the drop-down list to view and update a Lookup Configuration.
6. Click the small arrow adjacent to the Lookup Filter box. The Lookup Configuration page is displayed in a new window in Edit mode.
7. Update the details and click Save.
Configuring New Lookup
The Asset 360 Admin application allows you to configure new lookups as per your requirements.
Perform the following steps in the Lookup Configuration page to configure a new lookup.

Search Fields section.
5. Click Save. The lookup configuration is saved after successful validation, and a confirmation message is displayed.
