Property (UPDM - NAF aliases)
Creation
To create a Property:
From a Capability, Capability Configuration, Energy, Materiel, Organization, Physical Architecture, Post, Resource Artifact, Responsibility, Service Access, or Software: right-click the element, point to New, point to NAF, and then click Property.
On the Select Type dialog, create or select the type of the Property, or create an untyped Property.
From an NAV-3 Measurement Definition: click the Property toolbar button, and then click the owning Measurement Set or Security Attributes Group
On the Select Type dialog, create or select the type of the Property, or create an untyped Property.
From an NOV-4 Typical Organizational Relationships Chart: click the Property toolbar button, and then click the owning Competence, Organization, Post, or Responsibility.
On the Select Type dialog, create or select the type of the Property, or create an untyped Property.
From an NSV-1 Resource Specification: click the Property toolbar button, and then click the owning Capability, Capability Configuration, Energy, Materiel, Organization, Physical Architecture, Post, Resource Artifact, Responsibility, Service Access or Software element.
On the Select Type dialog, create or select the type of the Property, or create an untyped Property.
When you create a Property, you can create or select the type of the Property. The type can be a Climate, Condition, Environment, Geo Political Extent Type, Light Condition, Location Type, Measurement Set, Physical Location or Security Attributes Group element.
Appearance
When shown on a valid diagram (see below), a Property appears similar to as follows:

There are no relationships that are of significant importance to a Property.
