Part How-Tos

You can insert the parts for an assembly directly in the System Tree Items table or Parts Table, or you can import them into these tables. For general information, see System Definition. For importing information, see Import and Export Wizard How-Tos.

Part data is often inserted in the System file as a result of a part number search or a Library browse. For more information, see Part Number Searches and Library Browse Window.

Once you insert or import a part into the Parts Table, you must view and perhaps modify part data to ensure that it accurately reflects the conditions in which the part operates.
