For the active assembly in the
System Tree Items table, you can insert parts in the
Parts Table. Three methods exist for inserting a part in this table. The first method uses an empty row at the end of the
Parts Table in which you enter part data. This empty row appears by default. The second method uses
Insert Item commands to insert a blank table row in which you enter part data. The third method uses the
< Click here to insert a new record > command to insert a blank table row in which you enter part data. This command is shown in the last table row only if Show empty row in
System file Parts Table has been cleared under
Prediction in the
Options window. For more information, see
Prediction User Options.
You can also insert parts in the System Tree as described in
Inserting a Part in the System Tree. Additionally, you can insert parts using the
Library Browse window as described in
Inserting a Library Part Using the Library Browse Window.
To insert a part between two existing parts, you use the Insert Item Above command. For more information, see
Inserting a Table Row Between Other Table Rows.
