CAPA Information Page
A CAPA is an organized collection of objects that are developed, reviewed, delivered, updated, or managed as a CAPA.
The CAPA information page is a collection point for information related to a CAPA process. You can access the CAPA information page by clicking the name of the CAPA or the information icon from the CAPA table.
From the information page, you can perform actions on a CAPA task, as well as view the object attributes and any related information.

Actions
The following actions are available from the Actions menu in the upper left corner of the information page.
Action
Description
Rename
Reidentify the CAPA with a new name, number, or organization identifier. For more information, see Renaming an Object.
Set State
Manually change the life cycle state of the CAPA. For more information, see Setting the State of an Object.
Enter Request Details
Edit the CAPA request. For more information, see Editing a CAPA Request.
Add to Project
Add the CAPA request to a project. This action is available if Windchill ProjectLink is installed. For more information, see Adding PDM Objects to a Project.
New CAPA Request
Edit Access Control
View the current permissions on the CAPA for any user, group, or organization that you can access. If you have the required permissions, you can change the current ad hoc access control permissions that are in place for the object. For more information, see Access Table.
Subscribe
Request notice of events that impact the CAPA. For more information, see Creating a Subscription.
Tabs
The following tabs are available on the task information page. You can customize the tabs that appear on each object information page to display the information most useful to you. For more information, see Customizing Information Page Tabs.

Details
Displays the attributes of the task.
See Object Attributes for a list of common attributes available in Windchill.
Structure
More detailed information and related objects to the CAPA process appears in a structured view. Select an object in the CAPA Object Structure table to see the object’s attributes in the Attributes pane.
To edit items in the Structure tab, see Editing a CAPA from Any State.
Timeline
Allows you to view the entire CAPA process through its workflow states.
If you have the required permissions to view the audit trail for the CAPA, click the audit trail journal icon . For more information, see CAPA Audit Trail.
If Windchill Business Reporting is installed at your site, click the report icon to view the record in detail.
CAPA Management
Stores related tasks, related personnel and locations, associated objects, actions, and other items associated with a CAPA in a table format.
If you have the required permissions, you can do the following:
Update the Actions, Associated Process Objects and Associated Reference Objects tables by clicking the edit details icon .
Update the Related Tasks table by right-clicking an object and selecting an action from the menu.
Content
Stores primary source content and other attachments for a CAPA.
Changes
Displays any issues or variances that have been associated with the CAPA.

Routing/Process History
Provides information about any routes or processes that have been initiated for a CAPA, along with process status and task history.
Members
Displays all teams and members associated with a CAPA, as well as their Quality Teams.
