Running Full Data Scans
After you create Data Scanners, you can manually trigger full data scans at any time. You can also create System Jobs to run full data scans at specified time intervals.
To run full data scans:
1. In Max Designer, on the Developer Tools () launchpad menu, click Data Scanners, and then in the list view, click the Data Scanner record you want to trigger.
2. If needed, to activate the Data Scanner, select the Active check box, and then in the top left corner, click Save ().
3. In the top right corner, on the Options menu, click Scan Data.
4. After the data scan begins, in the bottom right corner, in the status message, click View Details, and then in the Data Scan History record, monitor the scan's progress.

The Scan Data option is unavailable in inactive Data Scanner records.
The time needed for full scans to complete varies depending on data volume and rule complexity.
