About Jeopardy Management
Successful Job and Appointment completion can be jeopardized in cases where preferred start times for Jobs are in the near future and no Appointments have been scheduled. Another example scenario is when scheduled times have passed and technicians have not yet started work on Appointments. To support dispatcher awareness of these situations, you can create rules that define the conditions that trigger Jobs and Appointments into jeopardy. The Jeopardy State of Jobs and Appointments is automatically set or cleared based on these rules, and dispatchers are notified about these state changes.
You define Jeopardy Rules in Data Scanners. Each Data Scanner is used to scan records of a single object by applying a rule based on the field values of the related records. Users can then manually trigger a full scan of all records of an object. System administrators can also define System Jobs to run full scans at specified time intervals. Additionally, data scans are automatically triggered when the records for which they are defined are created, updated, or deleted.
*
Records that are created or updated during initial sync do not trigger automatic data scans.
