Enabling Dispatch Priority
In Salesforce, users can configure the Dispatch Priority field in the Work Order object to prioritize Jobs for earlier scheduling. To make this functionality available for use with Schedule Proposals in Service Board, you can enable the Enable Dispatch Priority setting.
When this feature is enabled, during Schedule Proposal generation for groups of Jobs that require more total Resource availability than is available in a single day, larger Dispatch Priority field values mean that Jobs are scheduled at earlier dates and times than other Jobs with smaller values. Be aware that for groups of Jobs that can be successfully scheduled in a single day, this field value is ignored.

Before you enable the Enable Dispatch Priority setting, you must configure initial and real-time sync support in both Salesforce and Service Board.
When this setting is disabled, the optimization engine uses the Priority field value to establish scheduling priority for Jobs, with Low priority weighted at 1, Medium priority weighted at 2, and High priority weighted at 3. User-defined option lists have all custom options weighted at 1.
To enable dispatch priority:
1. In Max Designer, on the Administration () launchpad menu, click Settings, and then in the list view, click Enable Dispatch Priority.
2. On the record page, on the Overview tab, select the Default Value check box, and then in the top left corner, click Save and Close ().
