Editing Forms and Customizing Launchpad Menus
After you create an application, objects, and fields, you add the fields to the relevant forms, and optionally, create launchpad menu options.
To edit forms and customize launchpad menus:
1. In Max Designer, on the Developer Tools () launchpad menu, click Object Designer, and then in the left pane, search for and click one of the objects you previously created for your new app.
2. In the left pane, click Forms, and then in the right pane, in the list, click the form to which you want to add newly created fields.
3. Click Go to Form Designer, and then in the top pane, drag each newly created field from the Specific Fields area to their desired locations on the form in the bottom pane and save the form.
4. Optionally, to create or customize launchpad menus for the new app, return to the Max Designer landing page and in the top left pane, click Go to Application Designer.
5. In Application Designer, in the left pane, click Development – dev, and then in the right pane, in the list, click to open the newly created app.
6. In the left pane, click Launchpads, and then in the right pane, click Go to Launchpad Designer.
7. In Launchpad Designer, do one of the following:
Create a new launchpad menu with commands to provide access to the Shopping Item, Sales Territory, or Tasks objects.

When you create menu items, select the Object Link item type.
Add an existing launchpad menu and create a section with commands to provide access to the Shopping Item, Sales Territory, or Tasks objects.
8. In the top left corner, click Save Launchpad (), and then on the Development Actions () launchpad menu, click Synchronize.
