Configuring the Calendar Week Start Day
By default, all Calendars in Service Board are configured to use Sunday as the first day of the week. If needed, you can configure Monday or Saturday as the first day of the working week on the Scheduler Calendar, Crew Calendar, and Project Gantt. When you customize the first day of the week, Crew Calendar and Project Gantt headers render with the customized first day of the week for all selected date ranges, and Scheduler Calendar headers render based on the configured first day only for the following selected date ranges:
One Week
Two Weeks
Four Weeks
Monthly
Six Weeks
Three Months
Week numbering varies based on which day is configured as the first of the week, as follows:
Monday: First week of the year must contain 4 January. Used by EU (except Portugal) and most other European countries, plus most of Asia and Oceania.
Sunday: First week of the year must contain 1 January. Used by most of the Middle East.
Saturday: First week of the year must contain 1 January. Used by:
Canada
United States
Iceland
Portugal
Japan
Taiwan
Thailand
Hong Kong
Macau
Israel
Egypt
South Africa
Philippines
Most of Latin America
To configure the Calendar week start day:
1. In Max Admin, on the System Management () launchpad menu, click System Settings, and then in the list view, click to open the currently active System Settings record.
2. On the record page, on the Overview tab, in the Default Settings section, in the Calendar Week Start Day field, select the day of the week you want to configure as the start day. and then in the top left corner, click Save and Close ().
