Roles are a key element in Max access control. In Max, each predefined role includes permissions to view, edit, create, and delete specific objects. By default, all users are assigned the Standard User role. You assign some roles concurrently with others, and others independently of one another. For example, the Crew Manager and Dispatcher roles are typically assigned together to senior-level dispatchers with access rights to crew-management functionality. Junior-level dispatchers typically have only the Dispatcher role, and the Crew Manager role is not granted to users independently of other roles.
