Security and Permissions Configuration
User access to objects, data, and operations is defined by roles and groups with specific permissions. You can also assign roles and permissions to individual users. Additionally, you can set up data access rules to control access at the record level, and also configure specific object types as read-only for all users regardless of roles or permissions.
As part of Max implementation, roles are assigned to users during the initial data sync process. Salesforce users who are assigned the System Administrator profile are granted the Service Board Administrator role, and active Salesforce users who are assigned the Dispatcher profile are granted the Dispatcher role in Service Board. All other Salesforce users are granted the Standard User role in Service Board. Inactive Salesforce users are migrated to Max without activating their access rights. After initial data sync, any changes to role assignments, permissions, or groups that you make in Max are not synced back to Salesforce.
