About Partner Authentication for SFDC Communities
Single sign-on to Service Board is supported for customer partners. Partners of ServiceMax customers who are members of new or existing Salesforce communities can be granted access through their community authentication credentials. You can also configure an external OAuth2 provider for partner communities.
You can create and configure a Salesforce community, assign the appropriate profiles for community members, and create partner user accounts with these profiles in either the Salesforce Classic or Lightning Experience UI. Your next step is to configure an external OAuth provider on the Service Board side if needed. To complete the configuration process in the Classic UI, you create a Salesforce Visualforce page and Visualforce tab. To complete the process in the Lightning Experience UI, you expose your Service Board tenant URL to partner communities.
