What's Enhanced
E-mail Without Attachment Warning Message
The e-mail custom action enables the technicians to send emails with attachments from Work Order records. If there is no attachment in the email, a warning message is displayed to confirm the action.
For more information, refer to the Send Email section.
Multi-Level Mapping Support in SFM
Multi-level mapping is supported in SFMs on mobile devices. For example, when a Work Order record is created from a Work Order record, the new Work Order record's details are auto-mapped from the installed product's details. The multi-level mapping is supported up to three levels. It is also supported in the lookup form-fill configuration.
The data should be available locally in the Go app for the multi-level mapping to work seamlessly. It means the records should be a part of the Download Criteria or Advanced Download Criteria.
For more information, refer to the Create Header Record with Multi-Level Mapping section.
Search Operators in Explore and Lookup Search
The search filters are enhanced for the technicians in the Explore and Lookup Search screens. Technicians can filter the search results based on the selected search operators to get the required results quickly.
Before this release, the exact match results were rendered if the search keyword was enclosed within double quotes. This is not supported by this release as we have a separate operator 'Exact match'.
For more information, refer to the Search Result in Explore section.
Title and Description of Photo in Checklist
Technicians can add photos to the checklist forms. They can now view the title and description of the photos while adding them to the checklist and checklist process, in the completed Checklist Form / Summary View and the Checklist Service Report.
In the older versions of the Go app, if you have an unsynchronized checklist with attachments having titles up to 255 characters and descriptions of more than 255 characters, you must perform a data sync before upgrading to the Go 7.0 version. Otherwise, a sync conflict appears.
For more information, refer to the Checklist Response section.
