Task Management
The Go app enables you to manage tasks associated with work orders. Tasks are created during service product configuration, work plan setup, or directly on the work order. You can access tasks using two main entry points: the Standard Appointment Details screen, which is useful for dispatched work orders, and the Work Order Actions menu, which is designed for on-demand downloads (DoD). Tasks are organized by service products and work plans, with filters to display all tasks or only those assigned to you.
You can update task statuses, add attachments, and provide comments. Detailed instructions from back-office managers are also available. For specialized tasks, such as those requiring Service Flow Manager (SFM) workflows or output document generation, completion is automatic after execution. Generated documents are automatically attached to the task and any related records.
The app includes a visual task completion meter and supports split-screen views on larger devices, improving navigation between service products and task details. Completed tasks are locked for status changes but remain open for adding attachments or comments. These features ensure technicians can efficiently perform tasks and provide relevant updates.
You can perform the following actions on an assigned task:
• Change the status of the tasks.
• Upload attachments and update service notes.
• Launch the configured SFMs to update the linked Work Order or Installed Product records.
• Generate the PDF output.
