Standard Configuration Profiles
ServiceMax provides two standard configuration profiles:
Default: Org-wide profile, which determines the default behavior of the application based on the default value seeded for all the configuration settings.
Default Group Profile: Group-wide profile, which is associated by default with the Salesforce profile System Administrator. So, it determines the default behavior of the application based on the default value seeded for all the group configuration settings, for users with the System Administrator profile.
The standard profiles cannot be edited or deleted, except for editing the list of associated Salesforce profiles for the standard Default Group Profile.
Additionally, you can deactivate the standard org-wide profile Default, by activating a custom org-wide profile.
It is not recommended to directly use the standard profiles in your org as these profiles serve as the templates. You can clone these standard profiles and create the initial set of custom configuration profiles based on your requirements.
