Import Complex AND or OR Expressions
The FCO Search backend functionality additionally supports complex, multi-parenthetical AND or OR expressions when processing the FCO results. This helps to:
• Assist customers in utilizing FCO Search for more nuanced searches.
• Skip creating searches in the FCO Search Expression builder manually.
• Run the backend-loaded criteria to search and manage search results.
The end-users with appropriate permissions can perform the following steps:
1. Load the Change Order Criteria record using a backend data loader or API.
2. Associate it with the FCO record.
3. Navigate to the FCO Search screen. The FCO Search engine directly executes the complex expressions/criteria and generates the FCO results.
The Change Order Criteria record is accessed to check the criteria details after importing the data through the backend. The following screen displays an example of complex expressions or criteria.
The FCO Search expressions page displays the following warning message when you load the FCO Search expressions using a backend data loader or API. This message indicates that you cannot manually edit the search expression or criteria. The FCO Search skips all other steps and directly executes the search criteria, and displays the FCO Search results.
